Six to twelve months to change how a leadership team works.

Team coaching turns the priorities from the Team Diagnostic into everyday habits: how the team decides, disagrees, shares information and holds itself to account. It works with the team as a whole, in real time, on its real work.

What the year looks like

Every engagement is shaped to the team, but the arc is consistent.

  1. Months 1–2

    Agree the ground

Working agreements, the three priorities from the diagnostic and a simple way to track progress.

  2. Months 3–6

    Practise on real work

Monthly team sessions built around the team’s live decisions, with coaching for the leader in between.

  3. Month 6

    Check the pulse

A short re-survey and sponsor review: what has shifted, what hasn’t, what to adjust.

  4. Months 7–12

    Make it stick

The team takes over more of the facilitation, and we finish with a re-run of the Team Map.

What typically changes

Teams describe the difference in practical terms.

  • Decisions land and stay landedFewer decisions reopened after the meeting, clearer ownership of what happens next.
  • Disagreement becomes usefulHard conversations happen in the room rather than in the corridor.
  • The leader gets time backLess refereeing, more leading, because the team handles more of its own friction.
  • The team is ready for what’s nextNew members, new strategy or a new structure are absorbed faster.

Questions about team coaching

Do we have to start with the Team Diagnostic?

In almost every case, yes. The diagnostic gives the coaching a shared starting point and a clear measure of progress. If you already have recent, robust team data we can discuss using it instead.

How often do we meet?

Typically one team session a month, with coaching for the leader in between and a short check-in with the sponsor each quarter. The rhythm is agreed at the start.

Is it online or in person?

Either. Most engagements mix online sessions with a small number of in-person working days.

How is quality assured?

Daniela is an accredited coaching supervisor and team coaching engagements are supervised, so the work is regularly reviewed from outside the team system.
